Meet The Team

Floreana Cordova

Duke University

Environmental Science with a focus on Ecology

Floreana (Flo) Cordova is a junior at Duke University majoring in Environmental Science with a focus on Ecology and a minor in Biology. Flo's paternal family is native to the Galápagos Islands, so she spent two cumulative years of her life growing up in and exploring one of the few biodiversity hotspots of the world. She has taken this love for nature and put her studies towards conservation and restoration. Previously working on the Bass Connections Team Project: Ocean Evidence Gap Map, Flo looks forward to working at the Silliman Lab under Anjali Boyd to further her hands-on work in ecology and conservation.
