Biology/Genetics

Caroline Fiore is a Duke undergraduate student in the class of 2023. She is majoring in Biology and is planning to concentrate in either Genetics or Ecology. Besides Biology, Caroline also enjoys studying Art History, Anthropology and Literature. Her interests in Ecology stem from her involvement with wetland conservation efforts in her hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. She is currently involved in research focused on analyzing the role of mesopredators in trophic cascades and the wider impacts they have on ecosystems and communities. Caroline hopes to pursue a career in either genetic engineering or biological research with a focus on herpetology.
